• You are currently studying at a university or in the dual career programme of a university and are looking for a working student position or a practice partner for your dual studies 
• You are interested in agricultural topics, ideally you even have a personal connection to such topics

• You are used to working independently and creatively to find solutions

You will be actively involved in the editorial team from day one and grow with your tasks. The team around you will involve you in all editorial processes and will be at your side with help and advice as you take your first steps. What is more important to us than a degree in journalism is that you are enthusiastic about your chosen field: you will have expertise and experience in your subject area (e.g. a degree or training in agriculture, agricultural engineering, forestry, hunting or similar). We offer traineeships based on demand, which means that your in-depth training is important to us. Our goal is to have highly trained specialist editors on board in the long term. As a trainee, you will learn how to write about socially relevant topics at dlv. You are an ambassador for nature.

• You will receive journalistic know-how: from concept and research to writing and publishing content (online, video, podcast, print, and social media)
• Your extensive training is important to us: that is why we offer you internal workshops, training at the press academy and daily interaction with your team  
• There is no getting around cross-media today: you will be introduced to the tools of the trade for photography and video shoots, as well as podcast recordings. 
• You will have the opportunity to build up a network in the “green industry”: you can get new input from reportages, industry meetings, trade fairs, and press conferences.

• You have a successfully completed degree, e.g. in agricultural marketing and management, agricultural engineering, agricultural sciences, biology, renewable energies, automotive engineering, forestry, journalism, agriculture, mechanical engineering, or an apprenticeship, e.g. in forestry or farming 
• Your heart beats for the “green industry”
• You are open-minded, work independently and take responsibility, but you also thrive in a team 
• You are easily comfortable with social media 
• You are curious, have a flair for language and relevant topics, are creative and open to working with technical systems and tools

With this in mind, the publishing house offers a wide range of opportunities for your compulsory or orientation internship. Do you like the “green industry” or want to get to know it? At dlv, you will learn what it takes to become committed to sustainable and social issues. To ensure that you not only get a first impression of us, but also have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own area of work, please spend at least three months with us (or more). • Are you looking for a practical semester or a mandatory internship? You are currently studying, e.g. agricultural marketing and management, agricultural engineering, agricultural sciences, biology, digital media, renewable energies, automotive engineering, forestry, horticulture, computer science, journalism, agriculture, mechanical engineering, media communication or similar.

• You would like to do an orientation internship (max. 3 months) before starting a course of study or a vocational training? You are interested in the media industry and, ideally, have already had initial contact with the “green industry” or are enthusiastic about it
• You would like to get a taste of the day-to-day work of a specialist publishing house 
• You are proactive, able to work independently and are reliable, but you also thrive in a team 
• Microsoft Office? No problem

As a trainee at dlv, you will have a small team of trainees around you: this way, you will always have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own small projects together with your colleagues at dlv. Of course, a specialist will be at your side to answer any questions you may have or if you just need inspiration. Your fresh ideas are welcome in the dlv team – your colleagues will make you feel very much at home. It is important to us to train you as well as possible, so you will attend seminars to further develop your skills and, of course, we will prepare you for your intermediate and final exams. • Sales (including customer service, trade fairs, logistics, special products, digital sales) 
• Advertisement sales (print & online) and scheduling 
• Financial accounting, fee accounting, and controlling 
• Digital team (SEO, market research, data analysis, digital content and reach strategies) 
• Marketing
• Corporate communications and brand design 
• Reception (first point of contact for customers) 
• Production (layout and product design) 
• Editorial (online and print articles, social media) 

What we offer you:

• With us, you will learn how cross-media products (e.g. magazines, e-papers, websites, apps, events) are created, from the initial idea to the sale.
• Your training is important to us: you will therefore attend seminars to develop your skills 
• Together with the other trainees, you will work on exciting projects
• We will prepare you for your intermediate and final exams
• If you want to improve your proficiency in a foreign language or get a taste of a foreign country, we offer you the opportunity to work abroad (voluntary)
